Dr. Stuart White, PhD is the Lead Scientist for Research, Data Analytics, and Modeling at the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation. He is an expert in child and adolescent development and in youth antisocial behavior. Dr. White’s role at NCFF includes the supervision of data analysis activities and data management systems, as well as playing a major role in methodological design of program and grant evaluations and research projects for the organization and in dissemination activities. He joined NCFF in March of 2023. Dr. White earned his BA in Psychology from the George Washington University in 2004, his MA in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York in 2006 and his PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of New Orleans in 2010. He completed post-doctoral training and fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and previously ran an independent, NIH-funded research lab focusing on trauma, antisocial behavior, and adolescent brain development. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and serves on the editorial board of the journal Research on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (formerly Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology).
